I take my son every single year for his birthday here for breakfast. We love it and love that it's part of our yearly tradition. The staff are always helpful and cheerful. And the food is always done in a timely matter. I've never had not one issue going here and I've went every year now for 8 years in a row!! And I will continue to come here. The pancakes ARE HUGE and DELICIOUS. IVE had almost every single flavor\style pancake. And not one of them have been bad. EXCELLENT SERVICE.
Ok so the orange juice definitely lives up to the hype. It tasted like we were squeezing it directly from the orange ourselves. I had the meat lovers skillet. It was just as they described “Loaded with ham, bacon, and sausage.” I sub’d the toast for biscuit and gravy which almost put the meal over the top. I wasn’t sure if I’d finish it all. My wife had the country fried steak and eggs. Which she described as, “a little bland.” “But still very good.” Our son had the Stacking S’more pancake combo the pancakes were huge and loaded with toppings. Over all the meal was great. And the wait staff was very friendly. The cook staff was also on point. The speed at which they were pumping out the orders was astonishing. With dine-in and take-out they weren’t having any trouble keeping up. Great job guys!!!
When we finally received our food, it was cold. All of our plates. The staff and restaurant itself was wonderful. Just wished our pancakes were hot. Maybe next time!
Going through Eagle Point, famished, we stopped for breakfast. The dining area is packed with oversized photos of pancakes and other super sweet foods with tons of whipped cream and sprinkles and the like that made my teeth hurt by just looking at them. "Diabetes for the Holidays". Is that a song?
I ordered Corned Beef Hash which was a thinly pressed pattie of shredded corned beef and hash browns that was so salty that I'm still craving water. The flavor was actually good, but a little tough to chew. My wife had the Eggs Benny that came out with a weird lemon like cream sauce that was their version of hollandaise. Funkiness all around with this one. Again, the sodium level seemed through the food, at least for the both of us.
The service was the shining star of the experience with all whom we talked to being pleasant and friendly.
Overall, I can't say anything was BAD, just a bit different than what I am used to experiencing. Judging from the room full of good folks having breakfast, I may be the outlier on this one.
Had chicken fried steak for breakfast....... The steak picked up a strange flavor from the deep frier, gravy was a stiff jello consistency......... Hash browns were greasy enough to have came outta the fryer. Only thing really worth eating was the eggs and toast
Nice hidden little Cafe great service. Great service and big portions of food with a wild variety to choose.
Our experience has been with the Eagle Point restaurant. The service has always been good and accommodating, the food well prepared and good and the atmosphere a little noisy but easy to have across table conversations.
Great food, and fantastic service! Staff was very friendly and helped with whatever we needed. 10/10 would recommend again
